The Needle Arts Mentoring Program (NAMP)
|
|
Stitch N’ Pitch is partnering with the Needle Arts Mentoring Program to raise funds and awareness for this important program, that mentors children in the needlearts. NAMP, a project of the not-for-profit, Helping Hands Foundation Inc., is supported by The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA). As of February 2008, over 160 programs can be found throughout 30 states with volunteers touching the lives of over 4000 children. Anyone with needlearts experience can start a program and volunteers are given free start-up supplies and teaching materials for their classes. To learn more about NAMP, click here. |
